Welcome to the Amandalee Golf Classic Homepage  It gives me great pride and a deep sense of gratification
to be involved with such a worthy cause. The Amandalee Golf Classic raises money for the Amandalee Fund, which supports research for the Sarcoma Department
at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center, Tampa, Florida.
Sarcoma Department Program Leader, Dr. G. Douglas Letson and his team of doctors, scientists and researchers have been involved in the most groundbreaking research found anywhere in the country - cell line research, anti-cancer drugs and genetic mapping for individual patients, new developments and surgical techniques in limb salvage surgery, to name a few. Because of these combined efforts children and adults alike who are stricken with different forms of sarcomas (bone and soft tissue cancer) are living longer, more normal lives and with a renewed hope that once did not exist. This year’s Moving Forward Golf Classic to benefit the Amandalee Fund will be held May 10, 2013 at Mystic
Dunes Resort & Country Club in Orlando. A shotgun start at 1:00 pm will be followed by dinner, auction and an awards presentation.
